The Great Story House is a warm gathering place at the heart of Moonlit Vale. Villagers come to read, listen, care for books and maps, repair well-loved pages, share different versions of old stories, and begin journeys through The Tome.

The House stands at the heart of the village. Timber and stone, deep blue slate roofs, broad storybook gables, amber windows, and a modest beacon tower make it easy to recognize and welcoming to approach. Its light helps travelers find their way home, and the House always feels friendly rather than grand or stern.

The Tome

The Tome brings together records, stories, maps, and clues to other things kept in the House. It helps readers find links among them, but it cannot decide which version of a story is true, predict the future, or make its Storyteller know everything.
